PARAGLIDING P1 

BEGINNER 3-5 DAYS

El fayom – siwa oasis – Ain Sokhna 

The student learns how to prepare, inflate 

and control the wing on the ground 

(Ground Handling) and have his/her first 

solo flight experience. At this level, all activity is done under an 

Instructor’s supervision.

A – Prerequisites

To enroll in that course, an individual must:

- Have the minimum age in accordance with local rules 16 years old

- Weight not less than 40 kg and not more than 110 kg

- Medically fit, in general, for any sports Activities 

 
During the first 3-5 days, the students will be introduced to the basics  of paragliding: equipment, aerodynamic, meteorology, emergency, safety  techniques and reglementation. Next to the theory classes the students  will also discover the equipment and practice ground handling,  pre-flight procedures, forward launching, landing technique and finally  do their first low level solo flight.

Paragliding pilot Level 2 training

The next 5-7 days of the course will focus on practice. The students will  learn reverse launching, approaching landing zone, flying with others,  weight shifting, glider movement control. They will also pursue their  learning in aerodynamic, meteorology and radio communication.

Paragliding pilot Level 3

650$

In the last 5 days of the course, the students will deepen their skills   and knowledge to become an independent solo pilot and be able to fly  without supervision. They will learn to analyse the weather conditions  and get an introduction to thermalling, flat land and alpine flying  techniques.
